"12 Jurors"
Hannah was featured as Juror number 2 in Reginald Rose's Twelve Angry Jurors in May of this year. This well-known work focuses on a jury's deliberations in a capital murder case. A 12 person jury is sent to begin deliberations in the first-degree murder trial of an 18-year-old boy accused in the stabbing death of his father, where a guilty verdict means an automatic death sentence.

The case appears to be open-and-shut: The defendant has a weak alibi; a knife he claimed to have lost is found at the murder scene; and several witnesses either heard screaming, saw the killing or the boy fleeing the scene. Eleven of the jurors immediately vote guilty; only Juror No. 8 casts a not guilty vote. At first Juror #8 bases his vote more so for the sake of discussion after all, the jurors must believe beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant is guilty.

As the deliberations unfold, the story quickly becomes a study of the jurors' complex personalities, preconceptions, backgrounds and interactions. That provides the backdrop to Juror #8's attempts in convincing the other jurors that a "not guilty" verdict might be appropriate.

"Loving Lives"
Alan Haehnel's play Loving Lives, which takes place in 1948 and features a radio soap opera on its last legs, was presented by her high school theatre department on Dec. 3-6 in the school's Little Theatre. A pompous romantic lead, an incapacitated announcer, an obnoxious child star, and multiple off-the-air seductions all contribute to the hilarious demise of the radio show. Directed by Christopher Cook, this play featured Hannah Langley
as Blanche Kennedy.

"The Rimers of Eldritch"
This play is a character study that focuses on the residents of Eldritch amid a sexual assault and a murder trial, two unrelated events that both breed tension and lies in the tiny hamlet.

"Stage Door"
Hannah was chosen to play the lead (Terry Randall) in Stage Door, by Edna Ferber and George S. Kaufman, to be performed at West Ranch High School this spring.

Terry Randall, rich society beauty, has decided to see if she can break into the Broadway theatre scene without her family connections. She goes to live in a theatrical boarding house and finds her life caught up with those of the other inmates and the ever-present disappointment that theatrical hopefuls must live with. Her smart-mouth roommate, Jean, is approached by a powerful producer for more than just a role. And Terry's father has decided to give her career the shove by backing a production for her to star in, in which she's sure to flop. But his machinations hurt more than just Terry.
